Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield
A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The plane landed following established safety measures and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative said in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a short visit to the Belgian capital during the flight.
This incident isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a senior official has experienced mechanical issues.
Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to return to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
