Ukraine's power facilities have come under increased strikes in the past few days

A number of civilians were wounded while residents in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

At the same time, a young boy was fatally injured in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, based on information from regional authorities.

Russian forces has intensified attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the United States, the EU and the major economies - in delivering protection systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and several dozen projectiles struck energy facilities, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were laboring to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes struck power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.

Authorities told journalists that Moscow was deliberately attempting to damage the national power system, with attacks already impacting gas facilities.

He said utility staff and government agencies were preparing for additional strikes.
