The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance
This young athlete maintains impressive online audience
The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known backers as she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He practically told me to go out there and relax," she added.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in only three events in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
However she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with her mother.
"He represents the top athlete globally," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, following the flow."
Kai will face some of the biggest names in the sport at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials commented that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts millions of followers and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
